Eva Gannon came to talk to us about Green Schools and Smarter Travel.
Transportation is effectively damaging the planet. Even as we speak the world's ice caps, glaciers, and icebergs are melting! The main reason for this is the pollution in the air. Cars and other vehicles are sending the pollution into the air (or atmosphere). Cars use fuel to run on, and fuel gives out Carbon Dioxide(or C02), which is warming up the Earth. If we stop using cars to get to school, we will be reducing our carbon footprint and our C02 emissions. Try cycling or walking if you live close to school. If not, take the local bus to school.
You'll be helping the planet.
