The Cross Country Race - Holy Trinity NS

THE CROSS COUNTRY RACE.
On the 22nd  of september a group of children from 3rd, 4th, 5th  and 6th classes went to Ballyvary for a cross country race. It took us about 45 minutes to get there. When we got there we went into a changing room.  We then went onto the pitch to look at the track. We waited awhile for race to start, the 3rd class girls went first. We all stood at the edge of the track as they ran past us. We were cheering them on till the end. Next it was the 3rd class boys running. We did the same for them. The next race was going to be the 4th class girls. They went to the start line and in a few minutes they were off. Some of us chased after them cheering them along. The 4th class boys came next. Gutek did very well, he came 18th. The 5th class girls came next. For the older classes it was a bit of a longer race. We all did very well in this race.
