Senior Room
5th and 6th Class pupils attended a Fighting Words Workshop at The Museum of Country Life, Turlough.
We had an interesting talk about what people wore in 1850 and in 1950. We saw what people used in their kitchens long ago. We saw how blacksmiths, cobblers, lots of other people did their jobs long ago.
We were split into groups of three, each group was given a worksheet and we had to go all around the museum to find the answers.
We had our lunch outside in a tent. We did an art story about What Granny Did. At the end we went for a walk around the woods and around the lake.
By Max and Eve, 6th Class.
